Paris, January 2nd, 2008 – Lancôme has the immense pleasure to announce the future arrival of American actress Anne Hathaway as new ambassador for the brand.

She’s one of the most gorgeous young actresses out there now. The perfect new face for Lancome…fresh and natural but with a purely classic style.
i think she is going to be fantastic for lancome! julie i also agree with you, i would love to see a woman of color for lancome. i always think of halle as a strong, beautiful, classic & brilliant woman with an amazing image, lancome would be a great match.
I was super excited when I first heard this, I’m a huge fan of both Lancome and Miss Hathaway’s. I think her ads are going to be beautiful. There is something in the way that she carries herself that makes me think she’s a great choice – plus she gets a (great) makeover in almost all her movies! LOL, I think there’s about her that calls out to the “girly girl” in me.
I love Ann HAthaway. I think she is a natural beauty. She always looks stunning and her eyes, OMG those eyes. They always look so big in a good way.
I really want to see Lancome promote a fierce woman of color for their fragrances/makeup. Anne is pretty, but she just doesn’t connect to me.
Certainly not a choice of beauty, because there are much more beautiful girls out there. I think its a choice of attitude, ellegance and success. And I believe was a good choice!
