Can’t Shampoo? Use Shampowder

If you are too busy (or just don’t want) to wash your hair every single day, dry shampoo powders are a quick, easy alternative.

ShampowderOne of the best that I’ve ever used is Shampowder by Buttercream Cosmetics. I tried it out early this year and it works great. It has a built-in brush applicator, so you can apply the powder exactly where you want it.

Though I don’t use it often, Shampowder is terrific for hair emergencies. It has light vanilla scent and leaves your hair looking (and feeeling) more manageable. You dab the powder along your hairline and it absorbs the excess oils in you hair, leaving it looking much cleaner.

The pigmented powder now comes in three shades for black hair, dark and red hair, and light hair. The black shade is the latest of three and was just recently released.

You can order Shampowder from Buttercream Cosmetics for just $15.99.

The powdered shampoos are interesting. There’s also a No Rinse shampoo that is interesting.

I’m sorta a dry shampoo fanatic. I’ll have to try this – and the Cake Satin Sugar mentioned by Rachel.

I like this concept a lot – I’ve got Cake Satin Sugar “refreshing powder” for hair (which actually does smell like delicious cupcakes) but I think what would work certainly better with Shampowder is the application method…Cake is pretty much yummy smelling baby powder. :-)

I’ll have to give it a try!
