I love baths and I regularly make my own bath salts. A reader asked for additional essential oil combinations. Essential oils can be pricey, so I usually stick to either Lavender because it relaxes me or Eucalyptus because my family finds it helpful during cold and flu season. It’s very soothing when you inhale the scented steam. Here are a few combos, I’ll add more later, that you can use with the above mentioned bath salt recipe that you can find here. The numbers signify how many drops to add to the salt. You add the oil a drop at a time, stir them in.
Energizing:
4 Lavender, 2 Bergamot, 1 Clove, 1 Rose
6 Lavender, 1 each Bergamot, Rosemary, Clary Sage, Geranium, Cedarwood, and Oakmoss
Romantic:
2 Jasmine, 2 each Patchouli and Lemon, 1 Lavender
5 Vanilla extract, 2 Lemon, 2 Grapefruit, 1 each Bergamot and Mint
3 Mandarin, 2 Sandalwood, 1 Ylang-ylang
