Metallics are what’s in fashion now into the fall, so I am thrilled to be able to now wear makeup from MAC to reflect this trend. I have to admit, after Eve’s C Shock, I was a little nervous about MAC would have in store for their next collection, but there is not a color I don’t like in the Rush Metal line–we’re starting with the lipsticks.
All of the lipsticks have gold tinged pigment to them in combination with non-metallic colors:
Frenzy: Rosy copper with gold pearl
Frenzy: Soft muted pinky-peach beige with golden shimmer
Soft Lust: Tan with white pearl
Fast Lane: Mauve with silver pearl
LOVE Thrills. It is a great lipstick that you can use for that sunkissed beach look. If there is any one lipstick that will be good after the metallic trend is over, it’s Fast Lane. This mauve colored lipstick that shimmers is great for medium skin tones.
I’ve been using these lipsticks with the rest of the Rush Metal line, but also using it with the MAC Flashtronic line. The lipsticks color are really versatile that way.
Stay tuned for my review of Rush Metal pigments and the Flashtronic line.
Have you scooped up these lipsticks? They are limited edition you know, so I wouldn’t wait too much longer.

lol@ “no scrubs” Yoyo you’re hilarious girl!
When I hear Metal Lipstick, I keep thinking of the TLC “No Scrubs” music video where their lipsticks all look like painted on metal. Does it give a really futuristic look or is it more about the shimmer?
