Maine Shave

Maine Shave for Women

Maine Shave offers a variety of premium shaving products for men and women. I have been trying their Intimate Shaving Cream, and have really loved it. You don’t have to use much, and it really seems to provide your razor the slip it needs to do a great job, and leaves your legs feeling moisturized, not dried out and taut like regular soap will leave them. Here is what they say about it:

Our Maine Shave Intimate Shaving Cream contains all-natural skin softeners to give you the cleanest, closest, most comfortable shave every time. A soap base of enriched shea butter and palm oil sugar softens skin while sea kelp nutrients and horsetail helps to sooth and treat skin susceptible to bumps, rashes and ingrown hair. Grapefruit seed, coconut, olive, castor and jojoba oils leave pubic area, legs and underarms silky smooth. Wheat germ and vitamin E provide powerful antioxidants that protect against free radicals.

Sounds pretty great, eh? The only small gripe that I have is in the container – it is the one pictured above that is short and round – I would really prefer it in a taller and more narrow jar, the wide jar just doesn’t sit in my tub anywhere easily and the large lid is a little unwieldy with slippery hands. Use Maine Shave’s Body Moisturizer after you shave – it smells divine and leaves you very nicely smooth and not greasy. You can buy these at MaineShave.com, the shaving cream sells for $20 and the moisturizer is $28. These both will last you a long time, you do not have to use much to get the job done!

  1. Bon-Bons in the Bath

I was just wondering the other day who else besides Gilette and Skintimate make a good shave cream for women. Now I know! Thanks!
