Makeup Bag Savior: Artistry Color Quad

Hey everyone! I’m reporting live from the Miss America pageant this weekend, as a guest of skincare and makeup sponsor Artistry. While I’m SO excited to be here now, yesterday’s journey here was marred with one major annoyance – my travel bag was “delayed” by a solid 8 hours thanks to the glaring incompetencies of US Air (is there a more terrible airline? I don’t think so.)

In it, of course, was all of my clothing for the weekend, my makeup bag, jewelry, shoes and more so I was forced to wear my travel wear to a really lovely dinner with the other fab beauty bloggers in attendance – in short, jeggings, a silk tunic and…UGGS. Oh, the embarrassment! But I digress because thankfully I did have a savior in terms of makeup.

The Artistry Essentials Color Quad was included in a generous gift bag from the brand and this convenient little compact houses all you need to refresh your look. I particularly dig the pink in the upper right corner, which has some shimmer and looks lovely on cheeks or eyes, while I used the yummy chocolate brown in the left corner as a liner.
