I have the TOVA Lip Redeemer in Clear, a lip product that is geared to be used alone as a moisturizing balm or in adjunct to your lipstick to lock in the color. My feeling about it is so-so; read on and if you have used it tell me if you agree or disagree.
Unlike most lip balms that I have used, this one seems to not glide as effortlessly across my lips say like MAC’s Tendertone or Einstein’s Lip Therapy. I can’t rub my lips together without it feeling like work. The ingredients seem to have promise for moisturization with beeswax and castor seed oil; I also noticed it had Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, something that is supposed to restore plumpness to your lips over time. However, I felt TOVA’s Lip Redeemer to have this “dry” feeling on my lips.
Paired with a lipstick, it did seem to make the color last a bit longer and there was no feathering or bleeding.
For the price ($36 for 2 on QVC.com) I can’t say I would recommend it. So have your say, have you used it? I’d love to know what you thought.

I am tired of all the winter harshness and the effects it is having on my skin. Especially on my lips. While I balm them for what seems day and night, it is hard to find one stand out product that gets the ob done – and done right.
I found a product that not only moisturizes my lips, it is a great primer to use before lipstick or lipgloss. This is the Tova Lip Redeemer.
The redeemer smoothes on in it’s beautiful titanium like tube. It goes on clear, and leaves a matte finish. It feels moisturizing and immediately makes my lips feel soft – without feeling greasy whatsoever. Like I said, it is great to use prior to lipstick application, as it for one, this makes lipstick adhere better and last longer, and two, this makes it stay put – hence, no feathering.
Tova Lip Redeemer is part of the Beauty by Tova line for QVC. sold in a pack of two, which trust me, you will want. You need one for your makeup bag, and another for your purse. The Lip redeemer duo retails for $36.00, plus shipping and handling at QVC.

Had not heard of this product but I’m always looking for a good lip product especially during the winter. Is there any taste or fragrance to this product?
Jo – It smells like a creamy vanilla, but not an overpowering flavor at all.
I think I need this! My lips are chapped all year round!
