Urban Apothecary Super Gloss

super glossNaturally, as a lip gloss addict, the first product from Urban Apothecary that I had to review was their Super Gloss. This super generous tube of gloss had my name written all over it when I spotted it in the box.

I received both Super Nectar and Super Charming. Super Nectar is a beautiful peach color and Super Charming is light pink. Each has this gorgeous shimmer to them, that combined with the glossiness, make your lips so shiny and look much like those print ads of models from other brands with high shine.

The fragrance is pomegranate, which I totally love. The Super Gloss isn’t super thin, but isn’t too thick either. While each gloss provides sheer coverage, you do see a hint of color upon application. Since I love both peach and pink–as you can tell from the colors this blog was designed with, I’ve been wearing both of these colored glosses everyday since I received them. I’m also loving how well they moisturize my lips.

Another fabulous product from Urban Apothecary!

This seems similar to the Clinique Superbalm lipgloss that is out there. UA was in the know way before eh? I also love the colors pink and peach; i think they are the most universally flattering! And they make you so nice and girly when your lips are that color and shiny to boot ;)

The lip gloss to the right looks really gorgeous. I like pinkish-brown or tawny lip glosses.

One thing I can’t stand is tacky lipglosses. There’s nothing worse than when your hair blows near your mouth and then gets caught up in the tacky lipgloss, ick.

Looks like the UA supergloss reached a happy medium, though. Good job!
