YSL’s Gloss Pur Black

I am getting so excited about fall coming – it is my favorite time of the year! Much to my husband’s dismay, I dearly love dark, dark nails and lips in the fall – and this year the trends are right on target, as far as I am concerned.

So, YSL is preparing to launch Gloss Pur Black, a super shiny gloss (non-sparkly) that ranges from a transparent dark plum to a dark ebony depending on your application. This is really going to be gorgeous! The tube of gloss is only available for pre-order now at YSL Beauty, for $28. The scheduled shipping date is 9/19/08, so you shouldn’t have to wait too long!

Maybe after I see someone actually wearing this, I would consider it…even after reading the product description, I am picturing garish Halloween goth lips. It’s interesting though.

This is a trend that I plan on skipping. I do not look good with a dark lip look. I have tried it before. Can I recommend that you exfoliate the lips before putting on a dark lip color. It will make it adhere and last longer.
