What is With All The Naked Dresses?

Rachel McAdams could not look more pasty than she does in this dress. The overabundance of frilly fabric is bothersome and unflattering -from her toes to her shoulders it’s all beige, beige, beige…

Even if there had been a prettier pop of color in her hands than that yellow clutch, it might have been more acceptable. But as it stands, this is probably one of the least forgiving color choices in a dress. Sure, Carrie Bradshaw pulled it off while woo-ing Big and pimping her column on the side of a bus. But that dress at least said “I am totally this close to naked…” not “this is how my grandma thinks naked”, like Rachel’s dress.

Now, McAdams is not the only one – I’ve seen more than a few young Hollywood starlets strutting around in nude fashions…but this should just be off limits, outlawed, banned, destroyed. No more. Your nude Louboutins are crying out for some color to tone down this boring ensemble…give them what they ask for – the Louboutins know better.
