30-Day Challenge - Aubrey Organics Shampoo

graphic-30daychallenge-4 When I purchased the Natural Sunscreen from Aubrey Organics, I also picked up a shampoo, Swimmer’s Normalizing Shampoo for Active Lifestyles.

Boy, did we need this in my family. In the summer, we spend more time outdoors, in the harsh sun, in the pool, and at the beach. My children’s hair was all sticky, almost matting together from spending so much time in the pool. Mine got dried out from the saltwater just spending one day at the beach. If you notice too, no matter how much shampooing you do, it just never feels the same.

A few years ago, my hair stylist (at the time) told me not to buy anything fancy for chlorine/salt/sand removal, just to simply use dawn dish detergent. I did that, just once – never again. And I never went back to her again, either! I usually bought some kids chlorine removal shampoo (chemicals to remove chemicals = bad) from the local grocery store, but nothing came close to how our hair feels after using this shampoo from Aubrey, only one time!

The shampoo, which smells so fresh and clean, contains Organic Corn Syrup to remove the chlorine, Citric Acid to restore hair to it’s natural pH, and Organic Shea Butter and Aloe to condition hair and help it retain the perfect moisture balance.

The only mistake I made was not buying a bottle for each bathroom – which I will be doing after I look over the Aubrey Organics site to see what else I need to try.
