Designer Diane Von Furstenburg was the queen of the ’70s. Between hanging out with Warhol and company at Studio 54, she was also good friends with Diana Ross when she was filming The Wiz and first met Michael Jackson. Diane also attended Elizabeth Taylor’s wedding held at Michael’s Neverland Ranch.

Today, the designer wrote on her blog that while Michael and her never spoke, she saw him “from afar with tenderness and respect.” I think we all feel the same way.
