Eco-Friendly Sunglasses

In honor of Earth Day, I’m going to do my best to share with you readers as many eco-friendly products as I can find this month

Today, I have the first ever sunglasses made from 100% renewable material. Renewable means that the materials are used and then replenished at the same rate. Pretty cool, don’t you think?  The glasses are housed in bags that are made of 100% organic cotton and they are printed with a non-toxic water-based ink.

The E.C.O. (Environmentally Conscious Optics)
The E.C.O. by Dragon is an initiative inspired by Rob Machado to actively investigate the method of making and manufacturing environmentally friendly sunglasses.

A little bit about the features… these glasses have a large fit, so they are made for a man. They have a 5 barrel stainless steel hinge, 6 base polycarbonate lens, grilamid frame material, and they have 100% UV protection, and they are a matte blue-grey, steel-like color.
