When we sit down to watch a show on TV that has something to do with fashion, we’re watching because we want the fantasy. We want to see people living out their dreams whether they’re models or stylists, designers or photographers. We want to see people making a living (or having the chance to) at what they love to do. And yes, we want big personalities! Find out Style Television’s favorites after the jump!

The fashion world is full of big personalities that don’t apologize for being so eccentric. Here are a few of my favorite (ranked in no particular order).
Rachel Zoe – Who doesn’t love her? Between the vintage, the Cartier and the catchphrases, Zoe proved us all wrong. What the media had made her out to be before the arrival of The Rachel Zoe Project was a mean, frigid fashionista. She couldn’t be farther from that! Zoe is warm, compassionate and has a serious appetite for fashion. We’re just thankful she lets us go along for the ride.
Tim Gunn – Perhaps one of the first personalities that really left is mark. Even my own father will sometimes do the Tim Gunn voice and yelp, “Make it work!” Tim is a nice guy that never casts a cold shoulder to his proteges on Project Runway. Plus, he dresses so damn slick!
Stacey London – SHUT. UP! Yes, Stacey can get annoying at times, but hey, at least she has a personality to annoy us with. She’s bold and doesn’t back down, and at the end of the day, I think she’s the one that could dress someone for a dime. These makeover shows make it very easy to dress a woman when there’s major money involved, but I have a feeling Stacey could dress a woman who’s a size 20 in under an hour with only $50.
Carson Kressley – Another one who can work with “real” people. I love Carson’s energy. He can work with anyone from any walk of life and make them feel like a million bucks. And that, my friends, is a gift.
Who are some of your favorite fashion reality personalities?
