As much as I love my Philosophy, Kiehl’s, Nars and other department store cosmetic and beauty products, I have to give it up to their drugstore counterparts! For the gal on a budget some of the best skincare and beauty buys are fully stocked at your nearby drugstore.
Here’s are my favourite and highly recommended drug store skincare products.
Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner ($7.99) – A must for me. The scent is lovely and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or irritated either.
Neutrogena Moisture Oil Free Formula, Sensitive Skin ($12.99) – Perfect for those who are, like me, have oily sensitive skin.
Neutrogena Moisture Oil Free Formula, SPF 15 ($12.99) – Wonderful facial moisturizer for those who have oily/combination skin!
St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub, Gentle ($4.29) – My go-to scrub when my skin feels and looks a little dull and blah.
St. Ives In-Shower Exfoliating Body Polish, Oatmeal & Shea Butter ($8.29) – A wonderful body scrub that leaves your skin super soft and smooth.
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion ($8.69) – My holy grail lotion. I’ve tried others and they simply cannot measure up to this!
Aveeno Active Naturals Continuous Radiance Moisturizing Lotion, Medium Skin Tones ($7.19) – The best to use when you want a little “glow” during the Fall and Winter months.
Banana Boat Soothing After Sun Gel with Pure Aloe Vera ($4.99) – Used a lot of this during the summer and on our cruise in October and it works like a dream! Feels cool and refreshing too.
Fruit Of The Earth Aloe Vera After Sun Gel ($5.99) – Similar to the Banana Boat version and just as effective!
