In my house we wash our hands oh say 10 thousand times a day, roughly. Grass, poop, popsicles, lunch etc. There are just too many instances to count. I refill those dang soap dispensers at least twice a month. We had some great foaming stuff but you have to use the foaming dispenser in order for it to work. The bug smashed our dispenser to smithereens ours broke mysteriously so there goes the foaming benefits. However I found these great foaming dispensers the other day that are really sturdy and foam like gangbusters. They are made by KitchenAid but I wasn’t able to find them anywhere online. I found one on ebay so at least you can see what it looks like.
The great thing about it is that you can use just a little bit of whatever soap you like and it will turn it into foam. It says use a solution of 10% soap to 90% water but I used a little less soap. I just used some Castille soap and it works so well. Now I don’t happen to think they are that cute but hey I was looking for utilitarian not designer bathroom accessories. I only saw black, red and white so I got a red one and a black one. Each time I only have had to use one pump for both myself and my son’s hands. The bonus is you can use whatever soap you want so if I get tired of this scent I can fill it with something else. It’s the small things that make me happy.
