H&M Fall 2009 Lookbook

I have posted the H&M Fall 2009 Shoes, now let’s delve into the Fall 2009 Looks. Expect a lot of layering, and I mean, layering, shoulder pads, and the quintessential earthy tones combined with a touch of grunge styling.

I know that shoulder pads want to get back in the circulation but looking at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd H&M Fall Looks, I think it’s safe to say, it’s more on the “revenge of the shoulder pads” drama judging how the shoulder were made to look puffy. Not to mention the ballooned sleeves on the upper arms.

Having said that, the layering is quite over the top in a very chic way. My favorites are look number 4, 5, 6 and 7. Look #5 is a very interesting combination. I would never put on a light textured jacket over a thick crochet sweater. I would feel really suffocated but I like the idea somehow. But then again it must be because the model is that thin. Compare to my body which would look really plump with this combo. So that is something some of us should consider.

Other distinctive and unique Fall trends are the corduroy cropped pants over tights, with an added leg warmer to keep your legs warm and stylish too. That’s a lot of cover-up if you ask me but there is something adorable about it, no?.

How do you like the last look where the trench coat is left wide open and then cinched with a belt? It’s very chic, isn’t it?

These are just a few you’ll expect from H&M’s Fall 2009 Fashion. If you buy the pieces separately, I’m sure you’ll be able to incorporate them with other Fall items in your own wardrobe.
