To keep lipstick stuck, celebrity stylist Claire Devereux, a regular on Style Network’s How Do I Look? suggests layering foundation on your lips before applying anything else. While the clip on Style Network showed a makeup artist applying liquid foundation, I suggest using a powder. Loose powder is a bit of a mess to work with, so I suggest MAC Studio Fix.

Simply take a Q-tip and line and fill your lips, just as you would with lip liner to create a base for your lipstick. This prevents feathering and bleeding, which are bound to happen with spring’s strong lip trend.
