Part of being home is vegging out and watching all of the craptastic reality television that our great networks have to offer. I’m catching on The Real Housewives of Orange County, an oldie but goodie. I noticed that on several occasions, Intermix, the awesome boutique, originally based in NYC, has made an appearance. Hm…are they in on this?
It seems no matter what show we see on Bravo, there’s a close-up shot of said restaurant, boutique or hotel, so does this mean that said places pay to be part of the mix? Intermix already has a strong following, with boutiques in Vegas, Miami, and of course, Manhattan, but do they need even more exposure?
Check out the boutique at intermixonline.com.

With all the amazing boutiques in Orange County, it’s too bad only the large corporate companies are being promoted on the show because they can afford to pay. I’ve personally seen the Real Housewives of Orange County shopping regularly in the small trendy boutiques like La Diva, Queen Bee and Muse (see photos here: http://boutiquing.blogspot.com/2009/03/muse.html) but nobody knows about them because their names are never mentioned. I think it would be nice to promote the smaller boutiques and restaurants in the Orange County community, especially during these times.
