Target’s GO! International campaign is still going strong. The gimmick is every 3-4 months Target commissions a new designer to take a stab at designing for the masses. The result is usually good on paper, but once the clothes get to the store, all bets are off. Bad threading, cheap fabrics, and ill fitting patterns can do serious destruction to what looked good in promotional photos. So far I’ve been disappointed with every line yet (although I did snag a silk wrapped Tara Jarmon necklace), but Jovovich-Hawk has a tendency for doing contemporary trendy pieces, which translates well to mass production line.

Jovovich-Hawk is the brainchild of actress/model Milla Jovovich and her good friend, Carmen Hawk. Together the two have created a brand that is loved by indie actresses, fashion editors and quirky fashionistas everywhere. The diffusion line for Target is actually very much like the main Jovovich-Hawk line with lots of floral dresses, vests, and the pant-of-the-moment: the rinsed wide leg. You can check out preview looks of the Target GO! International by Jovovich-Hawk here.
