Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane “Model Behavior”
Original Air Date: 02/08/2009
The show kicks off with Kimora finding a space to be her LA showroom for all of the Phat Fashions label. She enlists the help of an interior designer to put together the showroom for an event for buyers in the next two weeks. The event will include buyers and editors, and Kimora wants to throw a small reception for her guests as they browse the collections and make choices for their next season of stock.
On the home front, it’s decided that little ol’ Ming and Aoki both need to learn responsibility, so Kimora tells their nanny that they now have chores they have to keep up with every day. These chores include cleaning up their plates after meals, and cleaning up all of the tennis balls after a tennis lesson. The girls take to the chores pretty easily (they’re such sweethearts!) and Kimora promises that if this continues, they’re insure for a big surprise from mommy at the end of it all.
Kimora decides to do a “pop-up” on the interior designer and his team and finds that the showroom is a mess. There’s a rack of clothes in the middle of the room, and other than that it doesn’t look like much has been done. Uh-oh. Kimora is NOT happy, and we all know how that can go! She hands off all of the clothing to Sandra and demands that everything is fixed…STAT.
The nanny keeps the girls busy with more chores and Aoki mentions that she thinks the big surprise from mommy might be “ocean cake.” I swear, sometimes I want to have a kid just so they can come up with these random things! LOLZ!
To relax, Kimora takes a tennis lesson of her own, and we see Sandra doing the dirty work when it comes to completing the showroom. There are three days left and things seem to be in the same place. Even after the showroom is done, there’s a lot more to do such as merchandise the clothes, dressing the mannequins, etc. After the tennis lesson, Kimora cleans up the tennis balls (though she doesn’t look too happy about it!), just like she asked her girls to do. Back at the showroom, the interior designer is freaking out a bit, and frankly, he should be – the place is practically empty!
Kimora arrives on the big day and everything is up to part, just as we knew it would be. I really hope this season isn’t all about down-to-the-wire moments like we’ve seen tons of. The party is a hit, everyone loves the clothes, and Kimora’s a happy camper. Oh, and Ming and Aoki do get their big suprise – personalized tennis balls…just what they’ve always wanted!

kimora is my role model, when i watched her programe i am inspired by her dedication and commitment in all spheres of life. I was suprised when she went back to her home town to share with the community where she grown up. Although she is a super model she knows where she comes from, keep it up and good luck.
