Project Runway judge Michael Kors knows a thing or two about creating a cohesive collection that reads like a good book. E! news was there to check out the celebrities (never the clothes), but at style-television.com we’re about fashion, so checking out F/W trends is second nature (and certainly second to celeb watching). While his show last week at Bryant Park was certainly something to be seen, the line didn’t seem like the type to translate well to the Kors client. Big prints and boxy jackets were seen in bulk, and drab colors like olive aren’t exactly styles that are universal. Where Kors did strike it big was with his gorgeous gowns that we’re sure to see come Oscar time.
