First Lady Michelle Obama will celebrate the 10th annual National Design Awards on July 24th. This year, a new and exciting twist to the awards is that recipients will participate in discussions that are free to the public. Among this year’s winners are Calvin Klein creative director Francisco Costa and interior designer Calvin Tsao. Launched in 2000, the awards are presented by the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
