Personally, I love this look. I'll probably wear chucks with dresses and skirts until I die.
If memory serves, she was "bad girl" Jen on Dawson's. However, I could be wrong. I was always too focused on Pacey.
Sort of glamour meets goth, no?
Cute and somewhat unkempt, but it's only the Emmys, so whatever.
Um, there's a lot to be said about this look like how I wouldn't even go to get my mail dressed like this, but this isn't about me -- it's about Michelle.
Personally, I love this look. I'll probably wear chucks with dresses and skirts until I die.
Here she is as a brunette who's still not quite to fashion icon territory, but the beads are a nice touch.
It was about this stage in her career that Michelle's fashion sense started to truly blossom. Perhaps, it was due to maturity or the fact that she had fallen in love with Heath Ledger. Love makes us do funny things like grow up and want to wear pretty dresses.
In happier times with Ledger just two years before his death, Michelle's look is phenomenal and classy.
It was this moment and this Vera Wang dress that made everyone realize that a fashion "It" girl was officially in the making. Not many can pull off a mustard colored dress.
Although she first debuted her short cut back in 2007, after letting it grow out, she went back to it again.
As she explained to Elle UK, the look not only makes her feel like herself but as she explained: "I cut it for the one straight man who has ever liked short hair and I wear it in memorial of somebody who really loved it.”
Stunning, impeccable, flawless and truly a style icon in red Valentino.

I mean… doesn’t she just look skinnier and skinnier? Her boobs looks like they’ve got from C to A.
pretty sure slide 10 is Carey Mulligan
Did you read that GQ article?? I was in tears by the end. She’s such an amazing woman.
I haven’t read it yet, but considering how much I cried over that one quote about why she keeps her hair short, I may have to wait on the GQ article! But yes, she is truly amazing and a class act.
Aaaw, she looks so happy at the Brokeback Mountain premiere!
Also: Man, I hated Dawson’s Creek. Soooo lame. Even as a goofy emo teenage I found it way too corny. Glad she made something out of it.
