My Apologies...

leafHey Everyone,

August has been a crazy month for me, and of course, this blog has suffered a bit. I finished my MA thesis on August 15th and moved out of Hamilton on August 16th. Today is August 17th and I am off to Dublin and London to catch up with old friends and celebrate the fact I (unless the committee rejects my thesis!) have more useless letters after my name.

I hope to blog a bit while I am away, but am uncertain as to the internet access I will have over there. I, unfortunately because of my thesis and moving, have not had time to future post — that is, write ahead of time so my slacker tendencies would have gone unnoticed — so my posts over the next ten days may be sporadic. For this, I apologize.

However, I get back on the 26th, turn 23 on the 27th, move out of the in-laws place to Toronto on the 29th (yes, I am currently staying at my boyfriend’s parents. Please do not laugh.), start a new school program on the 31st. I have BIG hopes for this blog, including revamping the blog roll, introducing more regular regular features and just blogging my brains out, I really do. It sucks it came into my life at such a hectic time.

Here’s to hoping that we get through the next two weeks and that September will be more productive (and more relaxing!) for all!

Cheers,

Erin.

PS. I am planning to off set my carbon emissions from this flight! Any suggestions as to how?

Well, I was just kidding… are you? The bold is scary. I love your blog.

    Jennifer!

It’s not going POORLY (and I didn’t mean to give you that impression!). It’s just 2 weeks is a LONG TIME in the blogging world, especially when a blog is still a baby.

plus i’m a perfectionist and always want my blogs to be better than they are!

the first week of the vacation was awesome, one more week left!

  3. Jennifer

Good luck with all that. I thought the blog was going well. You did a great job of fooling me — now that I know the truth I can drop it.

Kidding. I like it; but I know how it feels to be so busy and feel like the blog is not up to par. Or, well in my case the seven blogs aren’t up to par. In fact, why am I here? I should be blogging. Have a good two weeks :)

    SageRave,

matt’s parents are great and it’s only for two weeks!

    Erin.

You are so brave to live with your boyfriend’s parents to reach your goals. Good for you!

  6. Dark Circles

I bet you are very tired with all of the stress. I always get bags under my eyes if I don’t watch my diet and get plenty of rest. I hope you are taking good care of yourself so you don’t get deep dark circles the way I have in the past!

My apologies

…for the slow updating last week, and in advance for the slow first part of this week. My mother in law has been very ill, and I have been pulling a daily shift for the last week or so, sitting with her in the hospital. She lost her battle over the weekend and has passed away, and along with my hubby being home this week (which is never good for my blog productivity), we have services to attend and lots of family goings on. I will be back to normal soon, I promise. ;)

    Dearest Christina,
I pray that the happy memories of her will bubble up to the surface for both you and your DH. I’m sure that when you look at him, you’re seeing her very finest work.
    Love,
    Cyndi
