One of Fall’s fashion trends is animal prints. Whether it’s zebra, cheetah or leopard, you’ll see a lot of shoes and accessories with these patterns. Some of you may shy away from purchasing anything animal print but I say, go for it!
One of my top five favourite pair of shoes is my Dolce Vita leopard print heels. Wearing a pair of leopard print heels with a simple outfit can instantly add a bit of playfulness to your look.
Below I pulled together an outfit similar to what I would wear with my animal print heels using items that should be found in every stylish woman’s wardrobe…

If you’re wondering what to wear with that red dress in your closet or if you’re debating on whether or not you need a little red dress – take note! A red dress like this BCBGMAXAZRIA Matte Jersey Wrap Dress ($98) is yet another wardrobe staple. Red is a powerful colour which is why it’s only used once in this ensemble.
A timeless and classic khaki trench coat like this Old Navy Belted Trench Coat ($49.50) looks sleek and sophisticated for cold weather. For warmer days a simple cardigan will do.
For the fun leopard print shoes, there are two options Guess Bukala Peep Top Platform Pumps ($109.95) for warmer weather and Guess Ranger Pump ($89.95) for colder weather or if you just prefer closed toe heels.
For accessories, go minimal. I chose this really cute Betsey Johnson Three Strand Charm Necklace ($40) because the pattern on the hearts are leopard print.
And lastly, choose a black tote bag like this sleek Tory Burch Nico Leather Tote ($535) to pull the whole look together. This outfit is definitely something you can wear to the office and out and about.
Where’s the fun in fashion if you can’t get a little wild? Animal prints are surprisingly very versatile, so long as you get them in their natural colour combination. I would re-think that hot pink cheetah print if I were you, get it in a neutral colour.
