Last night’s BET Awards paid homage to Michael Jackson, who passed away Thursday night. It was an emotional night with tributes all around, including the fashion. I think singer Ciara did it best with her bedazzled military jacket that Michael would have been proud of.

Dear BET,
The June 29th awards show was to honor the memory of Micheal Jackson. His Dad and Sister Janet were in the audience. There were many performance’s that were so tasteful and appropriate to honor a recently deceased celebrity, but there were many acts that used such vulgar inappropriate language (some was sensored) but a lot was left for all america to hear and witness. The vulgar content was inappropriate for television, especially for young children and those who tuned in to support the Jackson family.
I hope BET will sensor the music content in the future for the major events such as the BET Award Shows and special events.
