The Devil Wears Prada

It seems that I can’t go into any store and come out without buying something. That was the case when we went into Blockbuster last Saturday. And as I haven’t seen “The Devil Wears Prada” yet, I know, I know… I’m wayyyy behind in the latest movies to be released, but life is just too nuts for me to find the time at the moment, so I simply bought my own copy. And no, I still haven’t gotten around to watching it, but I will… one night when all is right with the world!

The Devil Wears Prada (Widescreen Edition)

So, just out of curiosity, what was the last movie you picked up on a whim while shopping?

The Devil Wears Prada

The Devil Wears Prada
All you beautiful fashionistas out there might be anxiously awaiting The Devil Wears Prada – the movie version of Lauren Weisburger’s Voguely vaguely disguised tale of working in the fashion magazine industry. I just love Anne Hathaway, she is a gorgeous doll, and oh do I love Meryl Streep when she plays an over the top bitch (anyone see She-Devil?) – she is a nice mix of Anna Wintour and Cruella DeVil. I can’t wait to see it!

Here is a clip from AOL Moviephone to get you revved up. Enjoy – it looks like great fun to me. The movie opens June 30th!

Oooh, awesome! I had completely forgotten it was coming out as a film. I loved the book. It was hilarious.

I have to agree with ya Christina, on Anne Hathaway… she’s stunning already as young as she is…and she’s a very good actress with the potential to be GREAT… I just see her going places big time. She reminds me of Audrey Hepburn when she was young.

  3. Ooh – fancy meeting you over here, Catherine! Welcome! ;) Anne is a doll for sure – absolutely stunning beauty.

And Ingi – I missed your comment – I am sooo sorry!! This book was hilarious – I wish the movie would hurry up!!

Hey galpal! Yes, I decided to pop in and check out your “other” site. :) I don’t know if I’ll be ahnging around tho…cause I really am an old gypsy gal who doesn’t really care too much what I look like anymore. I wear baggy, comfy clothes, have an extra 40 lbs on me I don’t know if I’ll ever get off of me again, and don’t do hairdressers anymore…too expensive! LOL. But, I DO love your PINK site!

  5. Then you should LOVE my site – I wear comfy clothes, definitely am packing on more than necessary (esp. with all of this quitting smoking) and I have cut my own hair for years. LOL You are always welcome here Catherine! ;) And I love my pink site too – my fave color.
