So the girls are off on their shopping spree, and poor Molly is wandering around the store without a clue. I guess most of the girls will choose dresses or skirts for the cocktail party, and when Molly is asked where all of her clothes are, she just stands there with a blank look. In her defense, the store they were at didn’t really seem fit for a princess of any sort, so I don’t blame here. Crystal mentions that she will gladly take Molly under her wing if they are both chosen to travel to London.
The girls go back to the hotel and meet with Jean and Catherine Oxenberg, a real life princess whose father is American and mother is a European princess. The girls are asked to introduce each other, and Jean and Catherine will inspect their social skills. It’s a pretty boring process, and some of the girls stumble, but there aren’t really any standouts, good or bad.
At the end of the week, it’s time for the party, and the girls come downstairs to greet everyone they’ve worked with all week. While most of the girls are dressed nicely, Angela S. (yes, there are three of them!) shows up in a gold chainmail halter top and jeans. Uhhh…when was the last time a princess wore this?! Jean is horrified and I don’t blame her. They were told what to wear, and Angela S. chose to blatantly ignore it. I figure this will for sure get her eliminated, but once the names are revealed, the show proves otherwise.
Now a lot of these girls Jean had made comments about, so I don’t know if they’re staying on the show for drama, or what. The 10 that will go on?
