The Meat Dress: Solidified In Halloween History

So I guess no one cared when I said that I was over the meat dress. Whatever — that’s fine. It won’t be long until my every whim, as dictated on The Gloss, is adhered to by mass manufacturers of costumes. I’m patient.

Anyway, according to msnbc.com, this Lady Gaga meat dress costume was created by one Janine Holmes, a makeup artist from Toronto, who simply took a regular old meat costume (I didn’t know about them either) and slapped on a Gaga face, and voila! Instant VMA magic.

I guess that’s a pretty good idea, except for the fact that the meat dress, IMHO, wasn’t a particularly interesting concept in the first place, and so that would make it less interesting when regurgitated as a Halloween costume. But to each her Halloween own! Once we’re drunk and face-planting in the street next to children with bags of candy, I suppose we all look like meat dresses anyway.

Sexy Meat Dress… agreed, I’m over it. And for some reason, the only thing I think of is that America’s Next Top Model photo shoot with the meat clothing.
