As with all things Us Weekly, the tabloid conducted mindless TV-related polls in salute to all of fall’s new shows. When asked what wardrobe most would like to have, a whooping percentage chose The Hills star Lauren Conrad. Coincidence? We think not. After an internship at Three Dots (makers of yummy thermals and tanks), and her stint at Teen Vogue, it’s no wonder the girl’s got taste. The fact that this taste is rubbing off on others is what is so surprising. The laid-back, California-cool look transfers well into suburbia, proving that it isn’t only anorexic wash-ups who create trends.

Im a huge lauren conrad fan and i think her laid-back Cali style is awesome. i love her! (especially that Chanel purse!! )
her style is like the perfect mix of appropriate, casual, and on the cutting edge. i agree its a little dull at times, at least it doesn’t look as trashy as heidi’s. go team lauren!

i think lauren’s closet is so awesome. i love that one black channel purse she has. i just love her boots, hats, jewlery, etc. i just love her style.
