The Swollen and The Restless

When I was pregnant I had restless leg syndrome. I spent countless nights walking the floor and sipping tonic water with quinine in it to ease the discomfort. When the hubs could he would massage my legs with lotion. I also happened to be fat and swollen in the middle of the hottest summer in 20 years. I would have killed for Korres new Arnica and Ginger leg relief cream. It’s full of lovely essential oils and free of silicone and mineral oil.

Also in their new pregnancy line is an Almond and Avocado anti- stretch mark cream. I’m of the opinion that you’re either going to get them or you aren’t and a cream won’t necessarily prevent that from happening but it can’t hurt. However, my belly became so tight and itchy that I was slathering every cream I could find on it. Anything with almond and I’m there. These would be nice as a gift to an expecting mother this Mother’s Day, dontcha think?

For someone who is still trying to convince her significant other that restless leg syndrom is a real condition and not a fiction of my imagination or those of pharmaceutical companies, I almost wept with joy at the mention of “sipping tonic water with quinine” and the Korres cream!!! I experience it alot (and no I’m not pregrant). I am going to be lathering up my legs in Korres cream and sipping gin and tonic like its going out of style. THANK YOU!!!!
