Oh, what a delicious trend. Personally, I’ve loved cable knit for ages, but it had been pretty hard to come by, and what was available looked old and mom-ish. Bleh. But now – now there’s something for even the hottest of chicklets. Woo!
Yep, cable knit is everywhere this season. You can find it in cardies, turtlenecks, foldovers, babydolls, short sleeve, long sleeve, bright colors, neutrals…it’s all there. And in all price ranges, too.
In my world, the neutrals speak to me. I love warm neutrals in the fall. So cozy and sophisticated. They seem so effortless, yet polished. But, if you’re a color chick, don’t despair – there’s plenty for you, too. Take a look:

This is just a smattering of what’s out there. I am soooo loving this trend. Paired with skirts, skinny pants, jeans, over dresses – whatever. Perfect with anything and everything. Yay for cable knit!
Well, right this second I’m wearing that sweater — the one from Forever 21; but it’s not by them. However it is identical; in color, style, everything. Hmmm, now does that mean I qualify to be 21 forever. That would be hard. I think 25 forever would be a smarter age. Also I love the babydoll. Very cute.
