Like a lot of fashion television in the U.S., the Bravo smash hit, Make Me a Supermdoel is a British export.
This Friday, kicking off at 8/7am CST, Bravo will run a day-long marathon showing us how they strike a pose on the other side of the pond.
Sure, they might have Kate Moss on their side, but do they have Bronnie?

Does anyone know if they are showing it again.. I missed the first 5 or 6 episodes”?

I loved the UK show! My biggest criticism is that they should have had the walkoff and THEN made them wait a week to see who was in or out! The finale could have been a runway with the ousted models FEATURING the finalists or something if they needed a big ending…
I too disliked the judges treatment of Jenn. IMHO if she wasn’t supermodel shape TO BEGIN WITH she should have never been allowed on the show. …and if part of being a model of any kind isn’t a popularity contest then I’ve totally missed out on something all these years.
Jen was by no means the best but she (and Albert too for that manner) were at least mature enough not to get caught on tape being nasty gossips. If being a UK size ten and being called fat isn’t mortifying enough…how about a 17 year old going on and on about it for a month – I would have lost my marbles too!
BTW, I really would have thought they would have been more media savvy than they were.
Last thought – I want Albert to read me a poem…

I also got an automated message. I wish there was a way to get into contact with them. They act like they want feedback from viewers but they can’t even respond back. They probably don’t even read any of their e-mails.
I recorded some of the marathon. I have the last 7 episodes. Sadly, though I don’t have the other 11 or 12.

I am so hooked on UK model. Although it’s alll over the place, they show you soo much. Those judges were HORRIBLE. Their treatment of jen throughout was abhorrent. They sent everyone after her with the same weight questions it was so bad. She was winning, they didn’t like it and it was so painfully obvous. Shit happens, they put her on the show…they were so nasty and mean!!! That season is form 2006 I think. Besides their abuse of Jen, their judging was horrible. If it was obvously great they thought it was bad and the opposite. Crazzzzy. i really wonder how Jen is now, my heart went out to her she is a strong woman.

Loved the show, and at the end of the day the public had their say. The two female judges Rachel & Tandy, they were an embarrassment. when they thought the camera was not on them, you saw another side of them Bitchy, they let the UK down.
I know the British are bigger that that.
Who would want to work for them, I feel sorry for Albert, who I picked out on the very first show.
Well done Albert, Loved you from the minute go.

I just finished watching the show. I recorded it and have been watching it every chance I got. I liked the UK version a lot better than the US version. They did each completely different though. The UK version I though was more about who the super models were and there personalities and their characters. It showed the shoots and all that but it didnt show the pictures. I though it was more of a popularity contest than a competition between who the better super model is. I’m dissapointed in the results but it really upset me when Jenn was voted to stay in when she went up against Annya and Senait. Both of them were so much better than Jenn it was just rediculous. The US version I think was a bit more proffessional than the UK version. Although they showed how they were in the house and such they focused more on the shoots and the catwalks at the end of each episode.
After saying all that I still liked the UK version way more than the US version. I enjoyed it more. I liked the format and it was more interesting than the seeing the thing every episode in the US version. I would like to see the first season now even though it was only girls. I really hope they make another season. That would be awesome.
Also I thought it was a bit wierd that the only time I didn’t see Perou without his sunglasses was when they were in the blue lagoon in iceland, and even then he had stuff all over his face and couldn’t see it well.
I loved this show.

Great…great show! It’s very interesting to see the differences in the models in the U.K. and the U.S. The British really are so much more reserved than us Americans. But, I do love their sense of humor. Especially Luke’s and Waz’s. I am so happy Albert won….he is absolutely gorgeous!!

This show is awesome, better than the US version I think as well…some of the contestants have a rather caustic tongue though, and I do think the American models have a much better walk

Loved the U.K. version.. but didn’t like that the worst weren’t voted off fairly, but in pairings of boy/girl. Two boys and/or two girls could have make the better models. Not fair after all that hard work to have your sex decide you get sent up! WAZ was iT! Hottie … I picked HOLLIE on the US version day one and was right! However, my DVR quick at the last half hour, two.. Who won? Albert or Luke? (Hard choice, I would have given it to Luke… loved that he wore a cup!)
Cheers mates

What an incredibly disgusting panel of judges. I feel that their negative and unfair discrimination of Jen effected the way contestants treated her. Jen had to try harder than anyone else to survive this experience. Hasn’t anyone in the UK ever heard of plus-sized models? Jen would have been hailed as an outstanding supermodel here in the U.S. Everyone would have loved her here. I wish her much success and I hope that she did not listen to the air-headed, ignorant judges (especially Rachel and Tandy). Thumbs down to them and thumbs up to Jen. Hope to see Jen soon on every magazine cover here in the U.S. and around the world.

Loved the show! I think Rachel Hunter is a total bitch though. She has been on too many reality shows already. She’s desperately trying to hang on to fame, it’s pathetic. Love Albert, the winner. Since the show was taped in 2006, does anyone know if any of these models made it?

I thought it was beyond mean and childish when Jen was finally voted off and all the judges were practically “high fiving” each other. Totally unprofessional and heartless. If Jen had won, how in the world could she have worked for a modeling agency where the person in charge didn’t like her?
