Us Weekly Project Runway gossip

Earlier this week, I was perusing the $4 trash called Us Weekly and caught an item that might interest our readers. A few facts were distinguished from fiction, as Us Weekly gave us the skinny on season 5 of Project Runway.

1. The show is definitely switching networks and will air on Lifetime once it hits the tube again.
2. This season will be bi-coastal, with half of the series shooting in LA, and the other half in New York. The finale will remain in New York City for NY fashion week.
3. Nina Garcia is staying with Project Runway, despite rumors, although she is going to Marie Claire magazine.
4. New producers have been hired, as several of the old producers have been tapped by NBC Universal (Bravo’s parent company) to create new shows.
