Victoria's Secret adds 5 new Angels

Being an Angel at Victoria’s Secret has gotten a little easier, as this year, the company has added a whopping five new Angels to the roster for the annual fashion show. At one point there were only a few Angels, making the feat of being an Angel a greater ordeal, but this year, VS has decided that if you’re good enough for the world of high fashion, you’re good enough for them.

Chanel Iman, Emanuela de Paula, Lindsay Marie Ellingson, Candice Swanepoel, and Rosie Alice Huntington Whiteley round out the latest Angels to join Victoria’s Secret. While the Victoria’s Secret show could be an opportunity for a fun fashion fantasy moment, it’s campy factor has severely gone up in the past couple of years making it a show of models parading down the runway making kissy faces and smiling like idiots the entire way down the catwalk. And don’t get me wrong, I love a nice smile on a runway model, but it gets a little ridiculous when they’re doing it the entire time. At any rate, I, and the rest of the country, will be watching, just as we do every year.

Most high-end runway models have blank stares or scowls on their faces, it’s kind of nice to see the kissy faces and smiles from the VS girls. They always look like they’re having a lot of fun whenever they do the show. I’m sure the guys appreciate it anyway… ;)
