My friend Steven hates picking out clothes. He told me once that he wishes he were a cartoon character so that he could wear the same clothes every day and not have to think about getting dressed. Sheena Matheiken wore the same dress every day for 365 days (to be fair, she had seven copies of the same dress, so at least she could rotate them out without one getting all rank) as part of The Uniform Project. The Project is both an exercise in sustainable fashion and a fundraiser/publicity tool for Akanksha, a foundation that funds schools for Indian children growing up in slums. Video of Matheiken is below, and check out Racked for an interview with her.
