I was recently given a beautiful old necktie box:
Seeing as I don’t actually wear neckties, I’m going to use it store my porcelain flowers. It’s lovely to have a special place to store significant jewelery.

oooh, that is pretty, i myself use an oriental music box that my hubby got me from when he was deployed in Korea
