Vivienne Westwood is the brilliant British designer who is not only a Dame, but also a fantastic purveyor of punk style. Talk about an intro. Westwood has shown her main line in Paris for over a decade, but when retailers begged for a second line that was more wearable, Westwood finally made their dreams come true. The result is Vivienne Westwood Red Label. In true Brit fashion form, Westwood’s runway was ablaze with tartan, dark lipstick and body skimming silhouettes. Models like Coco Rocha and Lily Donaldson rounded out an A-list cast of catwalkers, and while the essence of Westwood has never really left London, I’m hoping a whole new generation can realize her talent.
