So I saw these pictures of model/singer(I guess?)/actress Cassie the other day (in NYC at the Sean John Fall 2008 fashion show) and something cute struck me–nevermind that she’s rocking a Herve Leger bandage dress (I think I’ve finally seen enough of this dress to last a while)–but I noticed her nails were painted all-white.
We currently have every celebrity and their mama (this mama included) wearing black nail polish, but I guess the direct opposite was bound to happen.
What do you gals think? I think it looks fresh. And no, I don’t mean ‘fresh’ in the 1988 sense. I mean, in a fresh-for-spring-enough-of-the-dark-colors, fresh. As in refreshing. Get it?
I dunno, I think I like it. But then sometimes I think it just looks like someone took a bottle of White-Out and went to town…
What say you? Yea or Nay?
Yea! I’m hopelessly obsessed with white nail polish. It’s the new vogue.
I like it, it’s a fresh color for the spring. In my opinion, I think it’s for the younger crew. Not for someone like me in their mid OMG..can’t believe I’m saying this……. Mid 30’s! Ugh…sigh…it’s going by too fast.
I like it. I think I’ve seen it most on acrylic nails than real or short nails. If I thought I could pull it off, I’d try it.

I’m wearing white nail polish right now and i love it. although i rarely ever wear it just white. i usually have small polka dots or a stripe down the middle in another color. even on my medium brown skin it looks awesome. this time i lightly brushed black nail polish on top so it has a really cool paint-splatter look.
Im wearing white nail polish right now and I really like it, but I have to say, I do keep thinking about the bottle white-out I used to paint my nails with in 6th grade science glass. LOL!! I do think its a nice contrast to the black everyone, myself included, has been wearing!

I just went white like 2 days ago n so luv it…I had did black for so long but I think I luv the white so much better especially on my acrylic nails…I don’t really think of white out when I look at my nails…white out is thick n clumpy(?)…my white nail polish is nice shiny n smooth…I finished mines by putting a quick dry top coat over the white…I luv it…it looks fab…now I don’t have to worry about anyone saying my nails look gothic…I haven’t tried it with black splattered over them yet…I think I just like it better plain white…
ok so i was going for something fun for valentines day so i painted my nails all white and was going to put pink hearts on.. so i let the white dry and tottally foregot about putting the hearts on. so the next day i was like hmm.. i kinda like this! but it looks kind of tacky..but i found this and its good to know that im not completely weird for liking this! it does remind me of white-out and middle school but if u wear the right jewelry and clothes, it should look very chic! ahh so fresh love it! my new favorite color hahaha!
