I love Kill City. They make the most (excuse the pun) killer jeans and basics. Total rock star style at basically affordable prices. And they make some 80’s inspired clothing that doesn’t look totally washed up, which is refreshing, because if I see another %&^*ing hipster in a stupid neon shirt and black leggings, I’m going to throw an egg at them. Please note: I have nothing against neons, or even hipsters, really. It’s just the hipster/neon/legging combo that gets me on edge. But I digress. (What else is new?)
I am freaking in love with this skirt. It’s black, has zippers, and a PEPLUM! Now, wait just a minute before you start assuming that if you have hips and a booty you can’t wear a peplum, because I am a total pear and the things I say come from experience. There is something magical about a peplum. It has a mystical, hip-concealing quality that frames your butt just the way you want it to. Provided the garment is properly fitting, of course. The only thing I’m not sure about on this one is the length. My hips may be able to take, but my thighs might not. I’ll get back to you. Available for $70 from Revolve.
