3-in-1 Boynq Alibi Speaker With Webcam Makes Video Chatting Bearable!

boynq-alibi-speaker-webcam2.jpg

I know you guys will be surprised to know, but I’m not fond of video chatting. I know, right, and I’m supposed to be the Gadgenista, haha.

But anyway, I don’t like video chatting for the following reasons:

  1. I feel silly because it feels like I’m talking to myself. (I’m quirky as it is already)
  2. Video chatting makes me feel clunky because I have to wear a headset (oww my ear) and then have a mic poking my cheek or lips; and
  3. I don’t look pretty on video chat. (HAHAHAHA, i’m kidding!)

But seriously, reason #2 is actually just the main reason. But with the Boynq Alibi Speaker with Webcam, I might try video chatting (a big maybe! I have Skype installed but I don’t use it!)

The Boynq Alibi Speaker has an integrated microphone and speaker, so no need for those ear-squishing headsets!

How to get Byonq Alibi webcam driver for windows Vista?

  3. Larry

I have the alibi boynq and the best I can do is get the video and speaker working with Win 7, but not the microphone. I have left messages with the Boynq people without getting a reply. They really should get their driver update ‘act’ together.

I received the alibi boynq as a gift but it didn’t contain the CD. Can’t get the company to respond to get one online or by mail. Any suggestions?
