Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary are not just taking a vacation in Australia. They have also been attending official functions such as the gala dinner for The Alannah and Madeline Foundation in Melbourne on August 29, 2008.

The dinner was held at the National Gallery of Victoria to help launch a campaign to promote online safety for children. Princess Mary is the patron of the charity for children’s welfare. Also present at the event was Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, Premier of Victoria John Brumby and child bullying experts Dr. Michael Carr-Gregg and Professor Donna Cross.
This next one is my favorite of the set. I love Prince Frederik’s expression, as he leads Princess Mary on his arm. 
Prince Frederick and Princess Mary are very elegant and very much in touch with the public. They are an ideal couple in today’s modern world.
I am curious to find out why they both wear an elephant icon on their royal blue banners.
