‘Dexter’s Julie Benz comes to Wisteria Lane!

Dexter’s loss is Desperate Housewives’ gain! When (WARNING: Stop reading if you haven’t seen the season finale of Dexter yet!!) Julie Benz’s character Rita was killed off Dexter, fans of the show were left wondering what would happen in the aftermath.

Well, we’re going to have to wait until Season 5 of Dexter to find out, but we do know that Julie’ll make her way to Wisteria Lane and hold a recurring role as a stripper “with a heart of gold and a Masters degree in education,” according to Michael Ausiello.

Susan helps Julie’s character, Debbie, find a better career.

We can assume this is why Susan was in the sexy tool belt, hey? Julie’s been booked at least for three episodes, and I’m a huuuuuuuge Dexter fan and I was super sad to see her get killed off (though, man, that was a GREAT season finale).

I gotta admit, though, I’m not sure I can picture sweet sweet Rita as a stripper. Oh, one bonus for her as character is that I’m preeeetty sure Julie’s had a boob job in the last few years.

What do you guys thing? Any dual Dexter/Desperate Housewives fans excited about this like I am?
