Eva Longoria Doesn't Want to Be Typecast

I think this article of Eva Longoria of Desperate Housewives is a bit ridiculous.  She claims she doesn’t want to be seen as just a sexpot, well, hmm…Eva, maybe you should stop talking about sex then?  I don’t really want you to though because I find it all very fascinating, but really, how are people supposed to take you seriously when you’re always talking about vibrators and your love of women’s bodies?  (not that there’s anything wrong with that in ANY WAY!;) )

Desperate Housewives‘ star Eva Longoria intends to keep away from sexy film roles, because she doesn’t want to be typecast.

The Latina actress, who plays the sultry and oft adulterous Gabrielle Solis in the hit TV show, isn’t interested in ending up like former ‘Friends’ star JenniferAniston, who Eva claims will never shake off her best known role.

In an interview with New Woman magazine, Eva said: “I’ve done a couple of films and I’d love to do more.

“I want roles that are the opposite of Gabrielle – I don’t want to be known as just a sexpot, it’s so hard to break out of.

“Even though Jennifer Aniston’s had huge success, she’ll always be Rachel Green.” from the Post Chronicle

  1. Desperate Housewives – Eva Longoria Pens Romance Novel

[...] Considering Eva Longoria’s history of having a potty mouth, I bet her romance novel will be EXTREMELY juicy!  I don’t typically read romance novels because they’re so corny, but I’ll betcha anything Eva Longoria will include vibrators in her story making it a totally original love/romance story about a woman and her favorite toy named sparky.
