Heidi was born in Bergisch Gladbach on June 1, 1973. Her dad is Günther, an executive of a cosmetics company and her mom is Erma, a hairdresser.
How she got her start in modeling:
Heidi’s career began in 1991 when she won a contest called “Model 92″. Her good friend Karin talked her into it. She started off modeling in Paris and Milan and then went on to do work in the U.S. – Miami and New York.
She is also well known for covering many men’s and women’s magazines, as well as modeling for famous brands and fashion designers.
Heidi is also a spokesmodel for Victoria’s Secret.

Aside for modeling, Heidi is also known for her roles in The Devil Wears Prada, Zoolander and Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie.

Personal Life:
She married stylist Ric Pipino in 1997 and divorced in 2002. In early 2004, she started dating Seal while she was pregnant with Formula-1 mogul Flavio Briatore’s child. Heidi gave birth to Helene (Leni) Boshoven Klum on May 4, 2004 and married Seal on May 10, 2005 on a beach in Mexico.
The couple have two children together – Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, born September 12, 2005 and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel born November 22, 2006 – and of course Leni.
The couple is expecting their fourth child!
