How to Make Your Own Ugly Anthropologie Tchotchkes For Way Less

The bottle vase thing you see at left is sold at Anthropologie and costs $198. But there’s a way to get the same thing for way less money. Here’s how:

1. Get a bottle out of the recycling bin. Preferably a dirty one.

2. Find a starfish. If you do not live near a beach, try buying a real or fake one (your choice! be creative!) from a craft store.
