Kate Moss has always been known for her scandalous lifestyle and almost sickly skinny body. The media loves jumping all over her looking for any reason to expose her crazy ways. The media gets even more excited whenever she says something a little out of the ordinary. Recently she has been quoted saying:
Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.
Apparently she said that this is her a motto in life. Well, I’m not really surprised she is a model and the only way to really make it in that biz is to be a stick. Stop kidding yourself. Tyra Banks may try to counter this aspect of the industry because she has hips but at the end of the day a skinny model always wins and the ‘plus’ sized girl goes home.
Apparently notable British citizens, including her Top Shop mentor Sir Philip Green, think such a statement sends the wrong message to young females. He has a point. With that said he isn’t going to change the modeling industry and eating disorders (sadly) will probably never go away.
Kate Moss is still fierce in my eyes and one of my favorite models of all time!
