Marc Cherry has announced there’s going to be a plane crash on Wisteria Lane, and it’ll be BIG.
“It’s going to be my cliffhanger for the first half of the season,” Cherry told EW.com’s Michael Ausiello. Not only that, but the crash will “affect everyone’s lives.”
But don’t worry, he says — this crash won’t kill off any of the ‘wives. No one major dies, but this crash affects everyone’s lives? Hmmmmmmmm. I imagine that means either Lynette and/or Orson will be on the flight when it crashes. She’ll lose her twins and Orson dies? This makes those “problems” go away in a way only “Desperate Housewives” can.
Not only that, but “Lost” fans might get what they’re always looking for — a tidbit of their beloved show seeping into another ABC series, just so they can have something to tide them over until the show finally, comes back.
(Or am I being too presumptuous in saying that because I’m obsessed with both of these shows that others are, too?)
The small plane that crashes might be from Oceanic Airlines, the fictional airline owning the plane that crashed on the island, which started all those hilarious antics the “Lost” crew gets into. Oh, you guuuuys and your confusing nonlinear plot.
Oh man. Wait. Maybe we’ll see “Lost” stuff start happening on Wisteria Lane? Maybe Mary Alice Young was the leader of the Others, a group of leftover housewives from the ’70s who mop in horrible patterned polyester and live in shotgun houses on the other side of town? And Gaby only sleeps with gardeners because the street told her to? And maybe we’ll see Zach Young (wherever he is now), with a big thick beard, whining about how he has to go back to the island (of suburbia)?
After all, “Desperate Housewives” already poached a little bit of story from “Lost” with that five-year flash forward in Season 5, right?

Karl dies, because on wikipedia an upcoming episode summary is that Susan inherits stuff from Karl’s will. One of Lynette’s twins die, because she falls on her stomach after saving Ceila. And Mona died, obviously. I’m very mad they didn’t kill Orson. He is paralyzed, though, but his therapist demands Bree to take care of him.
It was told that someone from first season dies, a minor character and central. I guess Lynette’s child is minor, Mona’s central (Though I see her a a minor too, so I guess either the twin or Mona could be central), and the main, first season person is Karl. Grr.
A new twist to the story would be nice. Seems that it’s always the same plot, affairs, husbands then followed by a devestating crash/storm, whatever…..then it begins again, more affairs, etc. I see a pattern, more babies for Lynette, more affairs and possibly the 3rd dead husband for Bree, people re-marrying the same husband again. I think this needs to be shaken up a bit. It’s getting predictable.

Marc Cherry, Please DON’T Kill Karl. I love him on the show. I’ll be so sad and angry if he kills Karl. I’ve kept watching lately because I love Karl and Bree. Please don’t kill Karl.
Perhaps Bree has to choose to save Carl or Orson?
Please, Cherry, do NOT kill Karl ! Pleaaase ! We all need him… Kill Orsonas much as you want, but do NOT touch Karl or I’ll kill you ! I’ll cry with you, LMITCHELL , if this tragic event ever happens.

I think this storyline is going to involve Bree/Karl/Orson. I’m pretty sure this storyline climaxes with a major cliffhanger. I can’t see Lynette losing her twins, as that would close the story easily, I think the producers want her to have this set, how it will affect her life now. It looks like none of the wives or series regulars are going to die, maybe some guest stars are going to.
I hope it’s not the twins! I think they should make the twins both girls just so penny will be happy and it just seems right.
I think orson will die cause Kyle maclachlan who plays him says he wants to leave so he can spend more time with his son and he lives in new York. So most likely it will be orson and hopefully not the twins
If Orson dies, Bree would have been with 3 men that DIED while they were together..(Rex that crazy guy and Orson)

This is stupid. Why? Why would they need to make it soap-operaesque to the point of deriosion… I mean, tornados, killers at every corners… More time spent at the hospital than at the mall… WHY?
If Orson dies, I swear I will return to Christianity. Because that would be a miracle!
Ok… someone got really excited ’bout the idea of a plane XD. When i first read of the plane crash i also thought of Lynette losing the twins, it’s like the perfect end for those 2 and a good way to change her life. Mmmm i don’t know about Orson but it wouldn’t matter to me if he gets killed or something. I just don’t like him, he’s like too dumb for the series :s but he wasn’t when the whole plot of Alma took place :s, it’s kind of weird.
