It pains me to post such unhappy news on such a happy inauguration day, but E! News and the Associated Press are reporting that Marcia Cross’ husband, Tom Mahoney, 50, has been diagnosed with cancer. It is not known which form of cancer he was diagnosed with.
“He is currently under treatment and is responding very well,” Marcia’s rep, Heidi Slan, told E! News.
My thoughts are with you, Marcia and Tom.

My Dad received radiation treatement this Summer (2008) for prostate cancer. It was weird seeing him go thru the tests and everything. I hope Tom recovers fully.
Damn, this must be a hard time for Marcia. Her old guy died of a brain tumor, and now she’s finally gotten a well established family and all. This just isn’t fair :/
I wish Tom, Marcia, Eden and Savannah all the best through this difficult time, and hope Tom will pull through and come out fine.
